Peter Decaprio: The Definitive Guide on Building an Online Business from Scratch Part 2/2 – The Process of Going from Zero to 6 Figure Businesses

In part 1 of this two-part series, I provided a comprehensive guide on how to choose the right niche and products to sell explains Peter Decaprio. In this article, I will introduce you to a system that will allow you to rapidly scale your business from zero to six figures.

I am going to be taking a big risk by sharing my trade secrets with everyone, but I am hoping that my system will be beneficial for you.

I have spent thousands of hours reading, researching, and testing what works and doesn’t work to build a six-figure business from scratch. If you follow the steps down below, your life can change in just a few months. Let’s get started! The following steps were developed over the past three years and were recently used to liquidate $1,000,000 in inventory in just 90 days.

Step 1: Domain Name Acquisition and Strategy

When someone types a keyword into Google and hits enter, they do so for a reason. They are looking to buy something or learn something says Peter Decaprio. It is your job to figure out what exactly is someone looking for when they enter your niche. For example, if I was starting a business in the fitness industry, my strategy would be different than someone who is selling beauty products. Google has given us two methods to figure out what our audience is looking for:

A) Adsense Keyword Tool –

This tool provides you with a list of keywords that people are searching for. You can then use this list to find out what your audience is looking for and find the most profitable products to sell.

b) Google Autofill –

When you type in a search term, such as “weight loss”, Google will give you a list of popular items that it thinks you may be trying to search for. This will allow you to see popular items in your niche before they are even searched for.

Domain Name –

Once you have figured out what your audience is looking for, it’s time to find a domain name that you can use to promote the product or service that they are searching for. For example, if I was selling a weight loss product, I would want a domain name that has the term “weight loss” in it. That way when someone searches for that term, my site will come up in the search results.

In order to find a great domain name, there are two things you need to consider:

a) Find a keyword rich domain name –

If you want your site to rank high in the search engine, it is important that you find a domain name that includes the keywords that people will be searching for. This will increase your odds of getting great rankings and can help lead traffic to your site.

b) Is the domain available –

You don’t want to spend money on a domain name only to find out that it took. Once you have an idea of what you want your domain name to be, check to see if the one that you want is available for purchase at Godaddy.com or Namecheap.com

If the domain name that you want is not available at either site, try using the following tools:

Google Advanced Search Operators –

Using these tools will allow you to search the entire internet for a domain name that meets your criteria.

Note: If you don’t want people finding your website and stealing your content, I would recommend purchasing a private domain at Godaddy.com or Namecheap.com. This should give your site better rankings in the search engines and will make it harder for people to steal your content.

Step 2: The Right Hosting Provider

Now that you have acquired a domain name, it is time to get the right hosting provider. I personally recommend either SiteGround or WPX Hosting. They are affordable, reliable, easy to use, and will provide you with everything you need to get your business off the ground. Peter Decaprio recommends that you create a new account at one of these providers, purchase the hosting plan that most closely matches your budget, and use an email address that is not associat with any other websites.

Step 3: How to Create Your Own Website in 5 Minutes or Less

Now that you have your hosting, it’s time to get your website up and running. If you are using SiteGround or WPX Hosting, this is extremely easy to do. They will provide you with a 1-click auto-installer that will allow you to install popular blogging software such as WordPress in just minutes.

Conclusion:

Now that you have set up your hosting and installed WordPress on SiteGround or WPX Hosting, it’s time to install the theme that you want. The one that I personally recommend is called Avada. Peter Decaprio says it has more features than any other theme on Themeforest, which will allow you to easily promote whatever products or services that your audience is looking for.
